hooray... we have sunshine in oregon today!    i am finding inspiration in these bright and frilly streamer decorations on such a beautiful day.  i want to make some right now!  they would make an excellent photobooth backdrop.

happy one year anniversary Henni's

henni's kitchen and bar celebrated their one year anniversary tonight.  chef owner christiaan erasmus roasted a pig (which was delicous) and served many amazing side dishes complimentary to their local patrons and friends.  henni's was full of clean plates and  happy tummies tonight.

the northside wall is a chalkboard and i illustrated a big ol' sweet pig in  honor of the pig roast.  co-owner sarah morton-erasmus added the perfect quote.  it made a great backdrop.  i was only able to be set up for the very first part of the evening.  then...the room go so full of wonderful people that i ran out of space for the camera and tripod.  which is truly a good thing.
